After the Dodgers secured their first back-to-back championship, the ninth title in franchise history, die-hard Dodger fans took to the streets to celebrate Toronto’s historic Blue Day win.
Across town, the sounds of fire engines signaled victory. Festivals happening in Downtown LA, East Los Angeles, Little Tokyo, Echo Park, Van Nuys and other places.
At Echo Park, blocks from Dodger Stadium, police closed off Sun Boulevard to traffic during Game 7.
As the final play of the game was made, fans in another bar at Echo Park jumped up and down with joy. Fire extinguishers and car alarms filled the air as drivers honked their horns and sirens could be heard in all directions.
At Echo Park Blvd. And the sun of Suntet Ave., hundreds of fans filled the closed road. In the middle, a few men shot the firemen every few minutes. A car from time to time came revving its engine, drawing the singers into the crowd.
Police gathered a block away and began setting up a perimeter as the sideline erupted. Several young men drove around like donuts, and several people removed flags from the rally in the middle of the action. Hundreds of spectators gathered, many recording the action on their phones.
“It’s crazy here, back to back,” said Dodger Fan Steven Gomez of La as he watched the fireworks explode overhead. “LA doesn’t give up, man. Like Kobe said, the work never ends.”
Gomez emphasized that no one throws a festival like his hometown. “This is LA. We love everything that comes together as a community,” she said.
At midnight, the police used horses to disperse the crowds.

In an interview with KCBS-LA, Magic Johnson, who took part, said it was a special night for the fans because neither team had a back-to-back contest in 25 years.
“With the wildfires, we needed this too,” he told the news station. “This [helps] bring our city closer. “

The mayor of the city Karen Bass Pakin congratulated the win for the win that was called immediately for the ban.
“We once again showed the world that LA is a city of champions,” Gubhalele uX. “It’s a good deal tonight, Dodger fans. There will be no tolerance for anyone trying to take advantage of this.”
In anticipation of possible celebrations, the Los Angeles Police Department went on a plan for the nearby city before 6 PM, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The police department closed several streets around the streets around LA Live and Crypto.com Arena and returned Metro buses from Figueroa Street to Pico and Olympic Boulevards. The strict closure also prohibits ride-sharing services from entering.

Lapd said it closed the following streets: Pico Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard between La Live Way and Grand Avenue, flower and hope streets between 9th Street and Venice Boulevard between 9th.
The Police Department later issued disvicesal orders to the people who gathered in the courtyard of Boulevard and Chick Bezwa by the court.
In East La, the California Highway Patrol has blocked Olympic Boulevard at Atlantic Boulevard, an effort to divert traffic and protect street demonstrations. However, one car managed to stop in the middle of the gathering, passing out donuts while people set off fireworks, much to the delight of the crowd. The motorcycle is followed soon after.
Shortly after 10 PM, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies extinguished the gas and moved into the crowd, causing people to walk in the center. A small tree caught fire. It was unclear what caused the fire.
After last year’s world series win, there were many incidents of vandalism and many arrests. While most of the festivities were peaceful, some businesses were in town and a bus was set ablaze in Echo Park.
The Dodgers earned their ninth title after forcing a seventh game by beating the Blue Jays, 3-1, on Friday. The team’s win on Saturday night also happened to be the birthday of Fernando Valenzuela, the city’s left-hander he died last year. A victory parade is scheduled for Monday.
