The Department of Justice (DOJ) has charged a Ukrainian woman with helping to carry out a number of cyberattacks with outdated infrastructure, working with Russian hackers behind the scenes, according to newly filed documents.
The Department of Justice’s Department of Justice rewards also offer up to $10 million to find information that leads to other groups arrested in one of the incoming groups.
Victoria Eduardovna Dubranova, 33, was indicted Tuesday in a second federal court after being detained in the US earlier this year.
Dubranova, also known as Vika, Tory, and Sovasonya, pleaded guilty to charges related to her alleged work with two Russian-backed operations, Carberarmyofrussia_renborn (Carr) and Noname057 (16).

Prosecutors say both groups receive funding from Russian government bodies to suppress Russia’s geopolitical interests.
According to the DoJ, Carr was founded and funded by the Russian Intelligence Agency, the GRU, and operated a popular telegraph channel with over 75,000 followers.
Authorities suspect the group’s attacks caused real damage to the land, including damage to public water systems that spilled hundreds of thousands of liters of drinking water.
They also paid for the November 2024 demolition of a Los Angeles meat processing facility that spilled thousands of pounds of product and released ammonia.

Noname057 (16), Currently, is described as a group affiliated with HACKTIVISITS linked to more than 1,500 attacks between March 2022 and June 2025.
Its targets include government agencies, telecommunications firms, the military, financial institutions, and travel authorities, and across Ukraine, Lithuania, Finway, Poland and Sweden.

The group also claimed responsibility for cyberattacks on Dutch infrastructure before and during the 2025 Nati Summit in Nague.
These groups are “actively engaging in opportunistic, corrupt and dangerous work to honor and create mayhem,” said Chris Butera, CISA’s Deputy Assistant Administrator.

Dubranova faces five years in this year’s case and 27 years in the standard case. Trials are set for February and April 2026.
