Elon Musk’s money won’t exist in the future (and Jensen Huang would like a heads up)

Elon Musk made some wild claims at the US-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, DC on Wednesday, insisting that his Optimus robot would fix poverty, and money would not work in the future, and money would eventually become redundant. Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, was also on stage and joked that he would have liked Musk to give him a heads up just before the currency became a thing.
“AI and humanoid robots will actually end poverty,” Musk said on Wednesday. “And Tesla won’t be the only one doing them. I think Tesla will pioneer this, but there will be many other companies making everyone rich. But that’s one way.”
The CESLA CEO has repeatedly emphasized in recent months that his robots will bring about a kind of post-solarcity future where no one has to work. Billineare said clearly on Wednesday when asked what he thinks the future holds for those concerned about AI and robots replacing jobs.
“My prediction is that the job will be selected,” Susk said, emphasizing that he was talking about 10 – 20 years from now.
The Billionaire continued with his now usual prediction, saying that in such a world where robots do all the work, money will no longer exist.
“I’ve always recommended that people read books in the Iain Banks tradition to get a sense of what the ideal future of AI looks like. And it’s interesting in those books,” Musk said.
“My guess is, if you’re out long enough, you think there’s a lot of progress going on in AI and robotics, which seems to be appropriate at some point in the future,” Money continued.
The moderator of the discussion asked, “Jensen, any thoughts?” as the crowd laughed. “In this way, Nvidia’s big phone is going later today,” Musk said, joining in the laughter.
Huang shifted uncomfortably from his seat and laughed at her with a kind of strange look. “And by the way, because money doesn’t work…” Huang Joke, walking along the trail. “Elon just wants to share your stories.”
After a good laugh, Huang withered again and suggested what the musk said. Huang once took the opposite view of the crowd that opposes any work in the future. Back in August, Huang said that AI and automation will essentially make everyone exploitative. Huang acknowledged that things will be different, including things like how students learn and how people do their work. But he stuck to his guns in predicting that people would actually be busy because they were able to achieve many of their goals.
“It’s my guess that Elon will be busy because of AI. I will be busy because of AI,” Huang said. “And the reason for that is because we have so many ideas that we want to pursue, things that are close to us that are close to us, we can say so often, we can move around a lot, and we can be very busy because we have so many ideas.”
Huang then made fun of that as he talks about musk over and over again, hoping that the TESLA CEO will give him a heads up before the money runs out. Sisk said, “You’ll see it coming.”
Musk often talks about how Tesla’s growing robots, known as Optimis, are the key to ending poverty. But, as we wrote earlier, this is probably his funniest lie. Improving efficiency does not redefine wealth. Musk has yet to address who will pay Americans to sit back and do nothing while millions of robots actually do the work. Is it the government? Because that would require a major change in political and economic organizations.
And why should we believe musk, of all people, wants to pay people to stay? This is the man who was attacked by the federal government earlier this year and his Department called the Doge and decided that too many people are using government benefits. He is also called the term Homeless A “propaganda term” for “violent drug addicts.”
Musk repeatedly tries to suggest that people facing homelessness do not have jobs, although somewhere between 40 and 60% of homeless people are employed, according to government estimates. He doesn’t give a fuck about poverty. You care about making a lot of money and you are on track to become the world’s first trillionaire. And he never talked about how his utopian idea of society would actually work.
Musk Contus ideas were very common in the 20th century. And it’s clear that’s where he draws his inspiration from, even revealing Iain Banks and his Utopian culture series of books on Wednesday. But none of it makes sense unless you’ve created some kind of fun socialist or communist company at the heart of this idea to deliver the necessities of life.
Musk wants to sell you his robots, and that makes sense in our current economic systems. But after selling you a robot, it doesn’t follow that the person who owns that robot won’t have to work anymore. It’s like thinking that every machine in your home right now can pay for you in some way. That’s not the case. They may improve your life, but they don’t introduce a political or economic system where it no longer works. If all the wealth is based on robots in this old Music Muskiry Musk, he will have to be the one who re-receives his wealth to pay everyone without working.
The end of the conversation with Musk and Huang was a good reminder of where we are on page 2025. The Saudi guardian, your Moser will speak next, “referring to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (” MBS) and President Donald Trump. Both tech executives weren’t taking Donald Trump being called “their boss” lightly. But it filtered the points musk seemed to be engaging in robotics and ai to deliver utopia anytime soon.
Trump and Mbs have no plans to let people sit around and get paid to do nothing. And they are building a future where that would not be possible.
