Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Erika Kirk opened up about her husband’s last letter and the message she wants people of all faiths to take with them during a wide-ranging interview on “Hannity” Monday.

“He didn’t just write the book,” Kirk told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “He lived.”

A fat Christian who inspired a debate on college campuses across the country, Charlie Kirk is “deeply proud” of his last book, according to the book’s publisher, which is spinning off a publishing group.

He finished what would be his last book – “Stand, in the name of God: Why observing the Sabbath will change your life” – only one month before his execution on September 10.

His wife of four years explained why the last activist is late and the Founder of Tpusa urged his followers to praise the Sabbath.

“In this book, Charlie talks about how important it is – to put down your phone, hang out with your family,” Kirk said. “Pour it to them. That is your inheritance.”

Charlie’s own experience of making the Sabbath by spending time with his family made him a “low-quality husband,” Erika reported.

“At first, it started in an hour, two hours,” he said. “But once he completely included it in his life, he raised it completely. He became the next husband, which I thought was possible because he was already possible for me and the children.”

Hannity, who praised Charlie as a ‘biblical scholar,’ praised the message of his friend’s book on the Sabbath.

He started and said: “He was talking about real relaxation. “And that means not watching television, watching closely. It means being there with your family. Submit to God.”

“Rest your brain, rest your heart,” Kirk replied. “Relax your soul. We are not machines. We are people, we have souls. We are here to make a difference and you don’t always hear from other people trying to take your attention away from that ultimate goal.”

“How can you make decisions for your family and your company and ux, y, z if you are so full of what the enemy wants to be?” he asked.

Kirk went on to argue that there is a difference between distraction and productivity.

“We can get stuck down the list of analogies and productive thinking,” he began. “Not really. Charlie was amazing with time management.”

Charlie’s murder is considered how “limited time” is limited in the world, Erika added, thinking how “precious” time is.

“Are you going to use that time to invest in your family, to invest in eternal things that you’ll have in heaven, or are you going to spend time going into Internet chats and, you know, going down rabbit holes?” he asked.

While Kirk and Hannity discussed the continuation of the biblical roots of the Sabbath and marriage as a covenant, Kirk insisted that readers of her husband’s book should not be Christians to learn anything.
