IKEA presents a collection of innovative new home devices that focus on lighting, sensors and controls. All devices will be wireless, which means they speak the best native language to be able to work with your home apple and Google home.

The story is an application developed by the Communication Standards Alliance, to allow any smart home device to talk to each other, regardless of the brand that makes the device. This means your Google Home can connect to your new IKEA Lightbulbs, and you don’t need a new Smart Home Hub to control them.

IKEA devices will also be connected. The line is one as many devices connect, such as how many devices connect via WiFi.

IKEA has divided its collection into three categories: lighting, sensors and controls. Lighting will include a new line of light bulbs and sensors that look great in your home. No release date or pricing has been given for the products as they will vary between markets. Here are all the new smart home products coming soon.

Kajplats smart light bulbs will be available in all shapes and sizes. These are the new options:

• E27 / E26 – Standard Globe Ship, 60 MM diameter. Available in white and color. Weaker options are available.

The senses

• MyGGSPRAY: Motion Sensor for Indoor and Outdoor Flexible use in automatic lighting in areas such as entrances, stairs, garages, or any light that is not manual.

• MyGGBETT: Door / window sensor. It detects when a door or window is opened or closed, and if it is connected to a good system you can get notifications on your phone. It also works in spaces like walkways, where it can cause light to turn on or off.

• Timmerflotte: Temperature and humidity sensor. Measuring the indoor climate at home. Press the button to view the temperature, followed by the humidity – one after the other.

• Alpstuga: Air quality sensor. Measures Co₂, particulate matter (PM2.5), temperature and humidity to indicate the air quality in your home. Designed to work together with IKEA Air Phonifiers for better indoor air. It can show with time.

• Clipbook: Water leak sensor. It detects leaks and notifies you with a sound – and can send a notification to your phone when it’s connected to the hub. Small enough to place under wind, machinery, or other danger areas.

• Bilresa remote control with electronic button: The easiest way to control smart products from a distance. Use it to scale or dim lights, adjust contrast, change color, or trigger a preset.

• Bilresa remote control with Scroll wheel: It allows you to change smart products with ease. Use it to switch lights on or off, dim, change color, or control a group or preset.

• Bilresa Remote Control Kits (2x): Kits of three colorful versions of remote controls, green, red and beige. One kit has three steering wheels, and the other has a two-button remote control.

• Prill Prill Plug: This smart plug allows you to control ordinary lights or small appliances remotely – turning them into smart products. It also tracks power usage and can be paired with a remote or motion sensor.
