Hakeem Jeffries nominates Zohran Mamdani for NYC Mayor after 3 months of waiting

It took four months, but one of New York State’s top Democrats finally gave in to the New York City Democratic Mayoralty ZOHRAN Mamdani.
On the day the election closes, the younger leader of the hakem. HAkeem Jeffries of New York, the top Democrat in the US House, on Friday announced his support for Mamdani, the city of Mamdani, in a statement from New York.
“Zohran Mamdani is unapologetically focused on addressing accessibility issues and has made a clear commitment to being the mayor of all New Yorkers, including those who do not support his authenticity,” Jeffries said.
Jeffries added: “In that spirit, I’m supporting him and the whole Democratic ticket.”
Jeffries, whose district includes a large part of neighboring Brooklyn, becomes the New New York State Democrat to go back to Mamdani, after the approval of September until late from the gov. Kathy Hochul.

The endorsement from Jeffries comes a day before early voting begins in New York City on Saturday.
The two top Democrats in the New York State Legislature called back Mamdani’s days after announcing their support.
Endorsements from Jeffries and Hochul would put a lot of pressure on the long term of DemocTen Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York, who is the leader of the set, will return to Mamdani in the upper part of the week.
Mamdani shocked the political world in June with his convincing win over New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and other candidates to capture the Mediali Party nomination in the populous city.
The Ugandan-born Mamdani, if elected, would be the first Muslim and first millennial mayor of the populous city. He is the clear frontrunner in recent public opinion polls in the Mayor’s race in a Democrat-controlled city.
Mamdani sits in a large double-digit lead over Cuomo in the New York City Public Wife Poll.

Guardian Angels Counder Curtis Sliwa, elected in the second straight election by the Republican Mayor-elect in the Democrat-controlled city, is a distant third in the polls.
Current mayor of New York, incorporated Eric Adamshe decided to run as an independent but announced late last month that he would no longer be running for office amid the current polls. President Donald Trump’s advisers are on executive planes that float both rights.
This week, Adams endorsed Cuomo, even though the two have clashed repeatedly this year on the campaign trail.

Mamdani was handed a Democratic primary victory in a powerful campaign that placed a heavy focus on affordability and New York City’s high cost of living. It was raised by a large grassroots army of supporters and support from the most senior players in National Policy, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
Mamdani made good use of social media platforms, including Tiktok, as he engaged the less informed voters. He proposed to eliminate the fares of the large bus system of New York City, make Cuny (the city University of New York) “studios without houses, provide” free childcare “in homes up to 5 years old and set up food stores run by the government.
Mamdani is heavily criticized by his opponents for his left-wing platform, as well as his verbal attacks on Israel, his past critical comments about the New York City Department of Public Affairs (NORD), and his request to shift certain responsibilities away from NOCK NOPSOST IN THE SUBJECTS OF COMMUNITY AND COMMUNITY WORK.
Trump, a native New Yorker who now calls Florida home, has dismissed Mamdani since his primary victory as “Commamali” and earlier this month came up with a new derogatory term.
“I call him my little mayor. He’s my little communist mayor,” Trump said during an extended FOX News interview on “Fox and Friends.”

Republicans have worked overtime for the past three months to organize a mayola-nominated Democratic nominee for re-election next year.
“‘Leader’ Hakem Jeffries just bent the knee to social risk, and now his only place to go is under cold repair,” now the National Revolutionary Press Committee and now he is financially suffocating.
Jeffries met Mamdani for the first time in July, with a second meeting last month. While Jeffries praised Mamdani’s concern for the campaign’s emphasis, it was not a meeting that led to consensus.
Most House Democrats, including many progressives, have given Jeffries plenty of latitude and have declined to avoid his lack of approval.
Among the exceptions is Ocasio-Cortez, who said earlier this summer that “we use our primaries to resolve our differences, and once we have our mind,”
Sen. Chris van Hollen of Maryland, former Democratic leader, who had been fired for not being faithful to Martha.
When Jeffries joined the hochul that killed Mamdani, the New York State Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs said that he – as an individual, will not promote his group of his party.
And the rev remocratic rep. Tom Suozzi, in his Swing Dring Drincossional district includes a small section of queens, previously announced that he will not defeat Mamdani.
Rumors of Friday’s approval received immediate criticism from Republicans who suggested that Jeffries succumbed to the pressure from his pressure to praise Mamdani despite his social face policies certainly becoming a target next year.
