Highlights: Eric & Katie’s Dangerous Episode Reverses – Double Death Twist?!

Bold and Beautiful it gives Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) great pleasure to introduce Logan. Eric was overjoyed because he thought his days as a designer were over. But now that Katie has accepted his offer to work with him, they will begin Logan together.

I wonder if things are getting worse for Katie and Eric because they both have serious health problems. Will this new adventure put Katie and Eric’s lives in danger?

Eric Forrester Returns as Lead Designer of Logan Fashion House in The Bold and the Beautiful

Currently, Katie is over the moon to launch her new fashion house, Logan. Things are getting a lot more exciting now that Eric is on board as lead designer. Things are moving faster than Katie imagined. Plus, you’ve got one of the best designers in the business. Eric and Katie are both excited to show the fashion world—and in particular, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)—that they are a force to be reckoned with.

We just saw the revelation of how Eric really feels: deep anger and deep frustration that Ridge fired him from his company. I will say, for a lot of people saying that Eric was crying when he accepted and all that, I think we’re getting a deeper explanation now. Eric tried to accept it. He was trying to be nice so as not to cause problems for the family, but after trying and after thinking about it, he goes crazy.

And that is understandable. I mean, who wouldn’t be? Ridge kicked him out of his company, but then turned around and did something lukewarm to let him back. It was as if Eric needed permission to return to the company he founded. And he wasn’t just interested in those scraps that Ridge was offering. That’s why she was frustrated with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) this week because she suggested that Eric go back to FC and I work part time.

But he told Donna that no, he wouldn’t allow that. Designing is Eric’s main reason for getting up in the morning. It is his interest and his purpose. In his opinion, Ridge took that from him. Now, Eric said that Ridge and Brooke are about to learn a hard lesson about respecting their elders, but I think there will be more to this story.

Suppression of Secrets and Health Concerns by Katie on Bold

Eric is willing to do this. And he doesn’t want Ridge and Brooke to know yet. So, Katie and Eric agreed to keep it a secret. A secret like that is stressful to keep. Bold and Beautiful he keeps bringing up Eric and Katie’s health issues. And they have been for a long time now. We know that Katie had heart surgery years ago, and a few years ago she needed a kidney transplant which she received.

Brooke and Donna said during Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) and Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) pregnancies how worried they were about Katie’s heart. They continued to raise the alarm. Brooke and Donna were worried that all the stress and anxiety about Luna having Will’s baby would be too much for Katie. They also expressed that they are worried that Katie trying to start this fashion house will also be difficult in her life.

Now we find him keeping this big secret that Eric is his lead composer. And that’s more stress than you can imagine. In addition, Katie also stressed because her relationship with Brooke is really difficult now. Brooke is mad that Katie named her company after Logan, her last name. You know, we can argue back and forth—I know the fans are divided on that. Brooke says Katie stole the name. That’s all very stressful, too.

Mirrors Eric’s Health Tragedy and Retirement Drama on The Bold and the Beautiful

Then we find out that Eric also has a serious health problem. He had a stroke a few years ago. He also had that cancer that almost killed him a little over a year ago. It was only thanks to Finn (Tanner Novlan) finding a miracle cure that Eric’s life was saved. But it was touch and go. And it gave all the Forresters great fear.

That was part of why Ridge felt he needed to force Eric into retirement because he was worried about his father’s health, but he handled it so badly. We heard Ridge say he wants Eric to ride off into the sunset and enjoy his time playing pickleball with Donna, but that’s not what Eric wants to do.

You are an adult. He gets to decide his future and wants to continue designing; that should be his decision. But now, because Ridge has decided he knows better, Eric is in this position where he has chosen to sneak around, to keep secrets. And he hides that he is designing for Katie because he is so salty about Ridge that he is forcing her to retire.

All that stress can be really bad for Eric’s health. Even this week, Donna was confused because now they are all going to lie to Brooke and Ridge. Donna is worried and says this could affect Eric’s health. Donna’s words may foreshadow that Eric’s life will soon take a turn for the worse.

Predicting a Shocking Fall at the Logan Fashion Show at B&B

I suspect that Katie and Eric will plan to reveal that they are partners at the Logan fashion show. That will come sooner than anyone expected because Eric already has the collection installed. He told Katie that they would be together at the end of the runway taking a bow.

Obviously, Ridge and Brooke will be shocked to find out that Eric is Katie’s lead designer and to see them together on the runway. But an even better outcome would be something bad and good happening on the Logan show. The upside would be that it’s an amazing success because we know Eric is a great designer and Katie has a great business head.

I think it’s going to be fine, but weeks and weeks of keeping secrets from Eric and Katie could be really bad in the end. The second surprise at Logan’s fashion show could be the worst. Right after the big success, Eric and Katie go down together in victory lane and they both fall.

Ridge and Brooke are in awe of the Bold and the Beautiful

I mean, that would be a crazy soap. Ridge would panic and fear for Eric’s life. And Brooke will be shocked at how this has affected Katie’s life. If it turns that way, Ridge and Brooke will say they were right and Logan was a bad idea. They can blame Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) if anything happens to Katie and Eric, as he somehow knows that this will have a negative impact on their lives.

But when you think about it, even if Katie and Eric both fell, you can say that it wasn’t Logan who caused their medical problem. Maybe design isn’t Eric’s problem and starting a business isn’t Katie’s problem. I bet Bill will turn around and blame Brooke and Ridge for forcing Eric out of Forrester and basically do the same to Katie for disrespecting her. That would be Bill’s take on things.

The Future of Logan in The Bold and the Beautiful: Competing or Merging with Forrester’s Creatures?

I can’t believe that Brad Bell will keep two rival houses going. I have a feeling that after a few months—maybe February sweep or May sweep—they will finally get together Logan with Forrester Creations. Logan basically The Forrester 2.0 with Eric as lead designer.

It would be very easy to put it under it all Forrester Houses an umbrella. They can call it Logan, a The Forrester subsidiary company. We’ll see how it goes, but it sounds like all this talk about Eric and Katie’s life is some kind of foreshadowing. Maybe not. Maybe it’s just Brad Bell throwing out red herrings as he sometimes does.

We will have to wait and see if we start Logan it affects Eric’s or Katie’s health. And whether these efforts can kill them if they go too far. I am sure they will survive. I’m not sure Logan as the design company will survive to be independent after all this comes out.
