Former Vice President Kamala Harris relaunched her Kamala HQ social media account that she used during her 2024 campaign on Thursday as the site for “Gen-Z’s best content,” but less than a day later, it looks like the account has already gotten another makeover.

The X account, now called “HQ,” changed its handle to “@headquarters_67” on Thursday, possibly a reference to the 6-7 meme, and shared a video with the caption, “Welcome to Headquarters, the new content hub for Gen-Z’s best.”

The new “67” handle was met with widespread mockery on social media, and shortly after the relaunch, the account’s handle was renamed “headquarters68_.”

KAMALA HARRIS WARNS THAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS ‘STUCK IN THE PAST,’ SPEAKING OF UNCERTAINTY.

Fox News Digital reached out to Harris’ office asking if the original handle was meant to be a reference to the viral meme and if it was changed after it was mocked online but did not immediately receive a response.

A video embedded in the post of the relaunch showed Harris being asked, “Madam Vice President, what’s going on with KamalaHQ?”

“Well, I’m glad to ask. I have good news.” Harris replied. “So, Kamala HQ becomes ‘Headquarters,’ and that’s where you can go online to basically get the latest on what’s going on, and to meet and revisit some of our great and courageous leaders, be it elected leaders, community leaders, community leaders, religious leaders, young leaders. I’m very excited about it. So stay tuned and I’ll see you.”

‘KAMALA IS BRAT’: HARRIS REVEALS HIS FAILED 2024 CAMPAIGN WAS TOO MUCH EVENTS READ BY THE STARS

In response to this video and the preview video shared the previous day, many popular commentators mocked the release as poorly planned or argued that Harris himself would not be able to perform.

Noting a possible reference to “67”, reporter Chris Rufo wrote, “My children let me know that ’67’ is old, tired, and jaded, so again, Kamala is missing.”

“6 7.. You get it!” conservative commentator Stephen L. Miller joked.

“In the name of every republican in the country: run, Kamala, run!” the Republican Jewish Coalition scoffed.

While there were plenty of conservatives quick to rebuke the name, Stefanie Feldman, who previously served as national policy director for former President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign, questioned the tactics used by the account.

KAMALA HARRIS’ BOOK, MEDIA JOURNEY LABELED BY LIBERAL CRITICS AS ‘SHAME’ AND ‘NOT HELPFUL’

After GOP X’s official account retweeted Harris’ rebranding video with a thumbs up emoji, “HQ” responded with its own emoji — the middle finger emoji.

“Does this help Democrats win more voters or consolidate voters?” Feldman tweeted about X on Thursday, including a screenshot of the interaction.

Democratic strategist Matt Corridoni agreed with Feldman, arguing that “the desire to feel cool online has stopped some people from doing normal things.”
