The 50-year-old documentary that chronicled Margaret Thatcher’s rise to power was recently staged in the United Kingdom.
The acquisition was announced by deep media on Oct. 13 – There was no 100th birthday.
The item is a large lot to be auctioned by Dorchester in Janchester on Jan. 29, 2026, where they are expected to account for as much as $100,000, or about $125,000 USD.

The book, which was found in a cardboard box in a garage in Somerset, once belonged to Sir Edward Dun, Kbe, a member of the conservation group.
The 50-year-old document was a nomination paper, signed by Thoreched himself, in which he agreed to run for the leadership of the book.

The letter, dated February 11, 1975, carried these words at the top: “Conservative party leader election.”
“I accept the nomination,” Them said, signing his name on Jan 27, 1975.

The document signaled the beginning of his rise to power. He became the leader of the conservative party that year and, from there, prime minister in 1979.
Another Lottery record shows that name to win with 146 votes, while the candidate chosen by William Whitelaw received 79.

The cache also includes notes and records from DU CAN and other letters from leadership candidates, including former Prime Ministers Edward Heath and Harold Wilson.

“This period of great importance is covered by detailed documents of the beginning of the rise of the party and the Prime Minister, where he was elected in more than 11 elections,” the release noted.
Guy Schwingele, a dealer and art consultant, said the collection was historically significant. “

“Margaret Thatcher was a trailblazer in every sense,” Schwingele told South South media.

“His philosophy – Thatcherism – changed the United Kingdom forever and the good ‘chemistry’ that he enjoyed with Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev contributed to the fall of the Berlin wall and the end of the cold war,” he added.
“Interest in the papers is expected from collectors and institutions in the UK and around the world.”
