Meet the Best Tech 2025 winners

The results of our first Readers’ Choice Awards are in. We asked you guys to vote for your favorite tech, and we’ve delivered. The winners are both surprising and not so surprising. More than 1,100 people voted in 18 product categories to decorate the best gadgets released in 2025.
Scroll down to see all the winners—chosen by all of you. To see how our Readers’ Choice winners compare to the Consumer Tech team’s top picks, check out our Best of 2025 Tech Awards.
If you didn’t get a chance to vote, you can still tell us what your favorite phone, laptop, gaming gear, smart home device—or any gadget, software, or service, really—was around in 2025 in the comments section. The whole point of the Readers’ Choice Awards is to see what our students like most. Try to keep it a secret there! Everyone is entitled to their own technical preferences.
