The Rockefeller Foundation, one of America’s oldest institutions, and Jimmy Donaldson, the 27-year-old Creator known as “mrbeast,” joined forces in an unusual traditional partnership that is moving forward.

“Joining forces with such a respected and philanthropic powerhouse as the Rockefeller Foundation will help us reach more people who need to take action and use the most popular document with more than 450 subscribers, in a statement.

Known for his knack for getting girlfriends, Donaldson has built an expanding entertainment empire that will include an animation studio, a video game platform and even a James Patterson-endorsed book. Much of his content, too, also carries a Philanthropic bent full of animal philanthropy chairs, a non-profit he founded in 2020 to support medical efforts and food delivery projects.

The Rockefeller Foundation, meanwhile, has long been considered a beacon of American Philanthropy. Founded in 1913 by the dedication of American magnate John D. Rockefeller, it has provided more than $20 million dollars in causes ranging from sustainable food programs to community health services and economic opportunity.

The foundation and Planthropies for Animals began discussing the partnership earlier this year and have not set a time limit on their partnership. Certain initiatives will be announced in 2026 and will focus on using social media to highlight Philanthropic issues more easily, including members of generations z and Alfa.

Young people, especially those born between 1981 and 2012, tend to take a more technical approach to giving, learning about supporting causes through social media. A report from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy found that younger donors are increasingly giving to broadcast events hosted by lists.

One of the first major partnership efforts will begin with a trip to Ghana in the first quarter of next year. This visit will support Donaldson’s work to fight child labor in the cocoa industry, according to a post from Mdali, who has promoted the cultivation of chocolate in the field with the DIPALL CHOCOLAT COMPACR.

Philanthroson’s Philanthropic Frails – Often shown in YouTube videos with titles like “1,000 blind people see for the first time” – long mixed reaction. Some viewers praised his efforts in the fight, while others criticized the content as exploiting vulnerable people.

“Jimmy and the Philanthropy team demonstrate the power of connecting people around the world,” said Rajiv Shah, President of the Rockefeller Foundation, in a statement. “In a disturbing and divisive time, this unlikely collaboration has the potential to make great things possible by motivating many people, especially young people, countries and the wider world.”
