Netanyahu Fury as Hamas Sends ‘Additional Remains’ of Deadly Ripple Already Brings Back ‘Ceasefire Violation’
Israel accused Hamas of breaking a clean-up agreement on Tuesday after receiving “additional remnants” of the renewal it had received in 2023.
The times are transmitted from Gaza throughout the night identified as those of the search for Tzarfati, who was killed during the October 7, 2023 attacks and suspected Israeli forces at the beginning of the war.
Hamas is expected to return the remains of 13 hostages still held in Gaza as part of a ceasefire arrangement.
The Prime Minister’s Office said the transfer was a “clear violation” of the agreement, subject to the return of captured bodies.
The Office said Benjamin Netanyahu could hold a security assessment with defense officials to discuss the response.

Any response is likely to be kicked in the hay by Washington, which this month eased the alarm that has halted two years of fighting, a senior Israeli official said.
Israel’s Minister of Finance Bezaleli Smotrich and Minister of National Security Tamar Ben-Gvir called Totanyahu to take a tough action towards Hamas.
The IDF said late on Monday that the coffin for the deceased had been transferred to the Red Cross and was on its way to IDF forces in Gaza.
Tzarfati’s family said they were shown a video of Hamas burying his remains in Gaza before calling the Red Cross to retrieve them.
They accused Hamas of ‘deception for the loss of our family as we try to recover’, and suggested that the “deception” was designed to “get a deal from all the hostages”.
“This is the third time we are forced to open the tomb of Ofir and ask our Son. The circle was said to be closed in December 2023, but it has never been closed with the memory and sense of mission,” said the statement.
Israel Army Radio reported that a military drone spotted Hamas digging a hole in Gaza on Monday before removing a body from the hole.
It is suspected that Hamas covered the body with dirt before calling the Red Cross to look at it.
It was originally discovered at the beginning of the war and in March 2024, it was returned to Israel for burial.
Israel has criticized Hamas for the delayed return of the holding bodies, underscoring the last agreement that has already been strained from the renewal of airspace and the ban on humanitarian aid entering Gaza.
Hamas said it was in line with the fire to finish it and was doing everything it could to get the shipment left, but was prevented by a lack of equipment to get the equipment.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said finding all the bodies was a challenge because of the scale of destruction in Gaza.

Nevertheless, “Hamas will continue to make all possible efforts to provide the remaining bodies until this crisis is resolved completely and as quickly as possible,” Qassem said.
The search for the bodies was accelerated in the past few days since the arrival of heavy equipment from Egypt.
Bulldozers were operating in Khan Younis on Tuesday, in the Southern Gaza strip, and further north in Nuseirat, as Hamas Masked Fighters were deployed.
