Pressure mounts on LinkedIn to shut down swailder sal wall account

LinkedIn is facing calls to suspend the account of sam wall, a 55-year-old digital marketing tool from Cleadle, which was sentenced to 28 months on Friday after admitting targeting, harassment and malicious communication.
Despite his conviction and the order issued by the court
The crown court in Preston heard that “for a long time, we counted and counted” the campaign “motivational” against the dynamic Speaker Brad Burton and the entrepreneur Naomi Tinderley (pictured by Preston Crown court).
Judge Usher told the wall: “Your name has become synonymous with stabbing online.”
Both victims, who attended the court for the sentence, denounced LinkedIn’s inaction, accusing the platform of failing to protect users from abuse even after conviction.
Brad Burton, a business coach and compulsive online writer, wrote on LinkedIn shortly after the hearing: “LinkedIn management, shame on you. Do something, before you do something.”
Despite Burton’s public complaints, LinkedIn’s LinkedIn and private Instagram accounts (with more than 4,500 followers) remained active over the weekend, raising anger among users of the professional networking site.
Hundreds of users have joined LinkedIn’s call to remove the wall account, with many openly criticizing the platform for enforcing its harassment policies.
Megan Codling, PR and Marketing Consulting, asked: “What is linkedin for?”
Caroline England, tech entrepreneur and Founder of Ear Legends, added: “LinkedIn, why don’t you remove this account despite repeated requests and convictions?”
Julian Wellys, a video producer, said: “I remain innocent that the platform failed to do something. They should do better.”
Some LinkedIn users described the situation as “shameful” and called on LinkedIn and its parent company Microsoft to make a quick statement.
Photographer Arwyn Bailey said: “He says he takes bullying and harassment seriously. He allowed one person to destroy lives – the knock-on effect on families and businesses is immeasurable.”
Burton has since reported other incidents of harassment on the platform, saying that another user of the network – Jackie Robinson – had started to continue the campaign of the wall less than 24 hours after his sentence.
In a detailed post shared on Monday, he said evidence had been submitted to the Tancashire Police and Linkertin Task Team, and that representatives of the parties and MP Gideon Amos Obe had been informed.
Burnoni wrote: “If we can’t deal with this, this case proves how much this platform is focused on the common man facing a campaign of legally proven lies.
I’d rather spend my Monday focused on healing, not fighting – again. “
He shared links to further posts and videos of continued allegations of strange behavior under the Hashtag #Gangstalking.
The case has fueled concerns about LinkedIn’s grooming policies and its response to abuse of what is often seen as “professional” social media.
While meta, ux (formerly Twitter) and Tiktok have faced widespread criticism for abuse and malpractice, linkedIn has largely avoided similar controversy – until now.
Business news has affected LinkedIn comments.
