“The Baddest Woman on the Planet” is back.

After the final fight in the mixed martial arts on Dec. 30, 2016, Ronda Rousey will return to the cage on May 16 against Gina Carano.

Rousey, the first woman signed by the UFC who became a Hall of Famer in 2018, retired in 2016 after six defenses of the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship before joining WWE full time.

The 39-year-old has been fighting on and off since but is now coming home on May 16 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

“This is for all MMA fans past, present and future. More to come… more,” Rousey said in the release.

Carano hasn’t fought since 2009 and got into acting.

“Ronda came to me and said there’s only one person she’s going to get back at and it was her dream to have this fight happen between us,” said Carano, who had a 7-1 record from 2006 to 2009. “Thank you for opening doors for her in her career and she was respectful in asking for this fight to happen. This is an honor. I believe that I will come out of this fight with a win and I expect that it will not come easily, which I accept. This is as much for me and Ronda as it is for the fans and the karate community. What a time to live.”
