Sherrone Moore was reportedly messaging several women on social media over the past five years prior to her firing as the Michigan football coach and subsequent arrest.
The Athletic detailed several allegations Monday of Moore leaving women confused by messages he posted on Instagram.
One woman told the outlet she received the message in November hours before the Wolverines were to face Purdue. The message was a hand-up emoji to which he replied, “hello.” The woman told The Athletic that she initially believed it was an account impersonating Moore, but allegedly assured her it was not. He congratulated him on winning and said that in the next few days he will respond to other videos that he posted on his Instagram Stories.

The woman said she stopped dating after learning that he was married with children.
“What are you doing?” asked The Athletic. “Are you sitting in the bathroom?”
Moore’s interaction with women on social media has been flagged by university officials. Another official told this newspaper that these messages were not harmful to the environment but raised questions.
“It wasn’t sexual harassment,” one official told The Athletic. “It was to qualify, ‘Are you an idiot?’ kind of stuff.”
More than 20 people spoke to The Athletic about Moore’s behavior on social media. The four women described a pattern in Moore’s “liking” posts on their Instagram stories and joined the conversation by asking how they started the stalking.
Ellen Michaels, an attorney representing Moore, addressed the report in a statement sent to this forum.

“Sherrone Moore denies wrongdoing,” Michaels said. “There is no history of domestic violence, no prior convictions to support allegations of dangerous behavior, and no court rulings to substantiate these allegations. This matter will be decided in court based on evidence and due process, not speculation.”
Moore was arrested on several charges earlier this month. He is charged with third-degree home invasion and two counts of trespassing and breaking and entering without the owner’s consent. He was released on bond and will appear in court again on January 22. He entered a plea of not guilty.
Moore is accused of having a “long history of domestic violence” against employees who allegedly maintained an inappropriate, years-long relationship.
Court documents obtained by Fox News Digital revealed allegations made by the staff attorney, Heidi Sharp, on the day Moore allegedly entered her home without permission, which led to her arrest.

Prosecutors detailed the allegations that led to Moore’s arrest, including that Moore had shared an “intimate relationship” with a Michigan employee for “several years” and that the woman had broken up with him two days before his arrest.
Prosecutors accuse Moore of contacting the employee by phone and text after the breakup, prompting the victim to contact the University of Michigan and cooperate with its investigation. Moore was then fired from his position as the football coach, which prosecutors say led him to show up at the woman’s home.

Moore allegedly then entered the house, grabbed a butter knife and scissors and began threatening her life. According to prosecutors, Moore allegedly told the employee, “My blood is on your hands” and “You ruined my life.”
