Spanberger extends 10 points; Miyares Up 8 as the hashmi-reid competition is always close

Less than a week to go before election day, Democrat Abigail Spanberger holds a 10-point lead over Republican Winse-Seas in the Virginia race, according to the new Roanoke College Poll.

Surveydone on Oct. 22-27 by the Cole College Institute and Research (IPOR), found Spanberger ahead 51% to 41% among voters – 3-Point ext Previous voting in August. Only 4% stay neutral and 1% sponsor someone else. The poll of 1,041 voters carries a margin of error of 4.05%.

Two-thirds of voters (67%) said they were very enthusiastic about voting, while another 23% described themselves as enthusiastic.

“While Spanberger appears to be increasing his support among Democrats, Earle-Sears can only slightly increase his support among Republicans, and he needs to run for Independents long enough to do so.”

Wilson added that “the races for lieutenant governor and lieutenant general are within the margin of error of the polls, even if those are recent.”

While Jones’ clearly lost some support among Democrats, they did not continue to support Miyares,” Wilson continued.

“As it pertains to Jones, the Miyares are now moving slowly between independents. There may never have been an independent. It may have been seen to see the diversity between the public race for the Governor and the representative.”
