Superhero Workplace Comedy, lots of power-ups and other new indie games are worth checking out

Welcome to our latest roundup of what’s happening in the indie game space. It’s been a full week with exciting new games arriving, news and reveals of upcoming projects. So, let’s look at a bunch of them.

Before we get started, Engadget editor Jessica Collett talked about Maxi Boch, one of CRIO’s trio behind Baby Stepsabout how the game came together. Boki gave a fascinating insight into the game’s development process (which started in 2019), especially on the audio side.

New release

Delivery Is a superhero action comic from Adhoc Studio, a team that includes the developers of previous Temptale Games games. It features interactive gameplay, driven by the telltale games forum, with your choices influencing how everything plays out. Delivery It has a packed cast, as it includes the likes of Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey and Jeffrey Wright.

I’m really digging the demo, so I’m hoping to get some playtime out of it Delivery Immediately. As with most TelTale games, Adhoc Studio went with the Episodic presentation method for this one, but the developer releases them every week. The first two episodes of Delivery is out now on PS5 and Steam, and reviews so far have been positive.

We have a trio of titles that recently hit Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass to talk about, including PowerWash Simulator 2. I don’t usually listen to music or podcasts while playing games. I prefer listening to game audio and I’m a terrible multitasker, though.

However, I did catch a bunch of podcast episodes while it was actually playing PowerWash Simulator. I’m looking forward to doing that again while I ignore the IRL activities as I blast away the visible vink with the pressure washer.

“More of the same, but better” is exactly what I’m looking for PowerWash Simulator 2so it was great to read some reviews that show that it is. Along with Xbox Series X / S, this Tequrlab sequel is also available on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

Next, we have traplook game pass to add as Pacific Drive You’ve arrived at the ultimate, premium and PC destination without prior warning this week. It hasn’t been available on Xbox to do it all yet. Pacific Drive It turns the F1 Facuseries title of Netflix’s F1 into a “drive strage to survive” horror game. You will roam the Pacific Northwest in a station chest in search of parts to upgrade your car and stay alive.

Ironwood Studios and Publisher Kepler Interactive delivered Pacific Drive on Xbox on the same day they released an expansion called Whispering in the woods. The game (and DLC) is also available for PS5 and console. I had a purpose to play Pacific Drive It’s temporary but, as always, there are too many games and not enough time to explore them all. Maybe I’ll end up trying this now that it’s on Game Pass, but I might end up waiting for the TV show instead.

Here’s an interesting feature from Dinogod and Publisher Annapurna in action. Bounty star it’s a combination of a mech action game, a farming sim and a building base. As War Veteltan Clem, you will try to be an influence of good in the “post-post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest.”

I’m interested to see what the core features of Bounty star Play with each other as you take care of your home and hunt for bounties for your (customizable) mech. Out now on PS5, XBOX Series X / S, Steam and Epic Games Store. Bounty star on Google Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as well.

ILA: Frosty Glide Is a chill, 3D platform adventure from magic rain studios and publisher first to break the labs. As a young witch named Ila, you will explore an icy island while searching for your lost cat.

What I like about the game, at least based on the trailer and what I read, is that instead of a broom, ILA uses a “skatebroom” to get around. It’s a skateboard and a flying broom in one! I would love one of those.

As it happens, developers Íetalo and Yesenia met while skateboarding. They started making games with skateboarding elements a few years later. ILA: Frosty Glide It’s back now on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X / S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

After reading one sentence of the pitch bench, I was sold: “To A bandageYou played as a retired secret agent on one last mission: to escape from your retirement home and uncover a dove conspiracy. “Good things, wonderful things, there.

As the pension says, you will have a flock of pigeons customized to help you during your adventure as you explore other parks. Along the way, you will solve puzzles, play bowls, chess, doodle in your book, play pranks and fish.

A bandage – From voxel pustios and noovola publishing – now it’s over now. I hope I don’t have to wait until I retire to have time to play it.

It’s coming

No robots are featured in two games this week, and one of them is a completely classy move (almost) from the publisher of Decensencer next and Little Rocket Lab. Now we make games inside, and the first to see the light of day is Traffic Control. This is a cruise liner sim where you will try to make your guests happy by fulfilling their needs and wants. It looks like a really cool thing. I’m a big fan of the Bingo Cage overdrive device.

In fact, this is the third game that no longer has robots working inside the house, but it is the first that the company has been revealed. The publisher noted that Traffic Control It’s not really good for you. However, playtysts should start later this year before the early 2026 release.

Another next game no more robots are shown Thank you for your request from Icelemontea studio. Here, you will review Job candidates’ resumes and make decisions whether to bring them to the board based on the hiring company’s criteria.

This has the spirit of Papers, please And there are no more robots in the series of residences for it – you will have to deal with debts, rent and manage your life. It also seems timely that the job application process is now more liberal. Thank you for your request We’re coming in 2026 and there’s a demo available on Steam now.

Finite Reflection Studios, a developer last year was sued Opponents turned offrevealed its next game. Mouseware it’s another similar soul, but it’s more in the vein of ‘0s collectathon platformers like Banjo-kazoooie. As the opponent of the Reincarnated Royal Mouse, he set out to save the kingdom from the curse.

I love the beauty here. There is no release window Mouseware until now. Steam is coming and you can play early builds now.

Speaking of games inspired by the ’90s Platers, there is a risk that The wind is blowing it would be my whole being to find a spell. Coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on November 11.

The wind is blowing – From WeatherFell and Publisher Top Hat Studios – it’s a precision platformer that sees animal marbles (duck) and checks (turtle) trying to get back home after a storm takes them away. The 40 levels to combine are full of collectibles and have secrets for you to discover.

Glimpses levels where you have to navigate sticky walls and sticky roofs, brambles and pirate post masts indeed A reminder of Donkey Kong Country 2. I’m not showing it well though, as that is one of my favorite games of all time.

We’ve known for a while that the splatter-‘n’-renewal on the Splatterfest Movie Series Terrifier is on the way and now we have a release date. Unfortunately, it’s not coming your way in time for Halloween, but you’ll be able to set your foot in good stead Terrifier: An artcade game On November 21.

Yes, yes, even the Clown is there A fork Now, but you can also play as a brutal killer in his Relevo game with Publisher Choose to play. Local op support is supported for up to four players (and you can play with each other, if you like. Terrifier lovers will probably be happy that they can use weapons like chainsaws and cleves to cause curtain kills. Terrifier: An artcade game It is bound for Steam, PS5, XBOX Series X / S and Nintendo Switch.
