The latest MacBook Pro

The M5 MacCook Pro (8/10, recommended wired) is only a month old, and it’s already sold out. It’s the only Mac so far to get a bump to the latest M5 chip, benefiting from improved performance all around. In my testing, there was a big step forward everywhere you looked, including the GPU, CPU, and neural engine for AI tasks. It’s the GPU that sees the biggest jump, though, which should speed up both gaming and professional applications. Besides, this is the macood macook Pro that you probably already know and love, with its small bright screen, powerful speakers, and additional ports (more than a macbook air, at least a macbook air, at least).

This base 14-inch model doesn’t have the incredible value of the MacBook Air or the power performance of the M4 Pro and M4 Mac Macbook Pro. In the end, when it comes to which macbook you should buy, the answer is still in the air. But the M5 zabcobpost models aren’t coming until next year, so if you’re after the latest apple silicon in one of the best laptops you can buy, this performance on the M5 MacBook Pro is solid.

The best Bluetooth speaker

The JBL Flip 7 (9/10, recommended wired) is an all-in-one Bluetooth speaker. OLED TVs can be the best TVs you can buy, but if you’re shopping for a TV under $1,000 like most people are, the TCL QM6K QLED (8/10, recommended wired) is what you should go for. It’s a 4K mini-ehod screen, and our TV reviewers called it “a dynamic display that does almost everything well, from natural colors to deep black levels and impressive clarity.” It’s not the brightest TV in the world, but it comes with a 144-Hz refresh rate for playback and a smart Google TV display for your streaming needs. There are screen options ranging from 55 centimeters to 98 centimeters, all sold before Black Friday, with the Happy-Medium model starting at $500.

But the 2025 moto g stylus is not only the best moto g phone you can buy, it also has many high-end features, such as a large 6.7-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120-hz. It has a beautiful blue back, a built-in stylus, and a headphone jack. That’s a lot of features that aren’t unusual for a surprisingly cheap phone, especially at the Black Friday price.

Classy Game laptop

Razer blade 14 (8/10, recommended wired) is a gaming laptop. RGB-backlit keyboard and Green Snakekes Lost in the cover he provided. But if not for those things, you could easily make blade 14 a true macood pro competitor designed for content creators and Pro users. It’s around the same intensity as the MacBook Pro, despite the fact that it has a powerful discrete graphics card for gaming. That’s what makes it a great hybrid device that can work well for school and late night gaming.

The Razer Blade 14 didn’t get a major overhaul in 2025, but the new model makes some tweaks. Now it has an oled panel, which is high-resolution (2880 x 1800) and color-accurate, and sports a fast 120-HZ. It’s not the best gaming screen I’ve seen on a laptop, but again, it’s a good comparison to the MacBook Pro. And at this price, it’s a bargain.

Samsung makes some of the best gaming monitors, especially in the last few years. Within its Odyssey Lineup, there is now every type and form of monitor imaginable. The Odyssey G6 (8/10, recommended wired) is a 27-inch OLD with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 360-Hz refresh rate, which should be great no matter what game you play. Looking for Extreme Fravitive frame rates for bloomers? You can drop the resolution to 1080p and check out the higher echelon of the 360-Hz refresh rate. For slower single-player games, the 1440P resolution is great, and the OLED panel gets you great HDR in games. It was $250 off the full price before Black Friday, down now to $650.

A Chromebook that was cheap

You would never expect a laptop this cheap to be without compromise. But when it comes to budget Chromebooks, this is as good as it gets. An affordable and attractive laptop, with lots of ports, great performance, and a comfortable keyboard. For a Chromebook, the specs aren’t bad, coming with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Unfortunately, the touchpad isn’t the best, and it doesn’t show. It’s not bright enough, and the colors are off. For a laptop under $300, however, the CX14 should do the trick, especially for the student or first-time laptop owner.
