Horror and comedy are sometimes thought to be opposite ends of the genre spectrum – but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Next to its original movies and really scary movies, stage fright has a nice little category reserved for horror comedies. Think parodies, tongue-in-cheek gore afters, and the kind of movies that can make you laugh whether you’re out or about to put your nerves on edge.

Zombie For Sale

What does it mean?
A family finds a way to profit from a zombie.
Why should you watch it?
What if the zombie bite isn’t there just bad? Specifically, what if a nip from the undead would give new life to the powerless under the belt? That’s the plot of the campaign that kicks off this Bleeight Bonkers South Korean comedy. The Park family is about to run into a haunted gas station when their profits are turned on by a zombie (jung ga-ram) with a fiery bite. That’s just director Lee Min-JAE’s SPLY HORORY-HYBEDYED debut. What does it mean?
A grieving man begins a relationship with a co-worker only to be haunted by his dead ex-girlfriend every time he has sex.
Why should you watch it?
Craving for dark, bloody good humor? You will fall hard You are forever. CO-CO-AREADERBEN BEN NOKRIS BLAINE writers have dreamed up a tale of true love and letting go, and it all starts with a macabre crush. Shop clerk Holly (Abigail Hardingham) hopes to help injured motorcyclist Rob (Cian Barry) forget his last girlfriend, who died in a car accident. But every time these new lovers crawl into bed, Nina oh’heughfeckedy) enters. Or more precisely, his broken and bloody corpse collides with a group of snarky one liners and dominates the eye. The Deadstream

What does it mean?
“YouTube Prankster Livestreats is a YouTube Prankster who visits a haunted house in an attempt to redeem himself.
Why should you watch it?
“Full of sick shame and dark humor, it feels like a real find,” wrote the original Kristy Puchko in her review. “It doesn’t need a Big Budget, an established Horror Franchise, or big names to shine. The Deadstream good bloody good time. So, keep an eye out. “

What does it mean?
The two writers take turns telling other scary stories behind the cabinets that always run out of power.
Why should you watch it?
Top high stories
Scare me A great example of a very simple structure done perfectly. Josh Ruben’s Mariter of An amateur writer growing jealous of his cabin neighbor was brilliantly written and directed, exchanging witty campfire wits that lead their lives where they are made. And this one is about acting – as well as writing and directing, Ruben also stars in it Scare me aside Boys‘Aya cash again Saturday night liveChris Redd, and the focus on firing news means that the Trio has to break down its full (impressive) lineup.
It’s good for laughs, there’s tension, and although there are few real traditions, there’s a charming sense of irreverence that twists into something more in The Last Act of the film.

One cut from the dead
What does it mean?
A film crew tries to shoot a low-key zombie movie in an abandoned factory.
Why should you watch it?
I can safely say that I have never seen a movie like it One cut from the dead. Shin’ichicô ieda’s (recently remade) horror comedy (heavier in comedy than comedy) is essentially a movie within a movie within a movie within a movie using a shoestring zombie flick.
We spend the first half of the running time watching the zombie film itself, but things really pick up in the second half of the movie, when we zoom in (back in time) to watch that director and production team put this whole thing together.
If that description left you feeling a little confused, it might be for the best – One cut from the dead It’s kind of a hard movie to describe, but it’s probably a little bit more fun when you know how to get into it.

Pig
What does it mean?
A small town in Australia is full of man-eating pigs.
Why should you watch it?
Pig It might not come from the comedy section on Shudder, but let’s be honest here – any movie that features a HIPPO-Size monster pig going up against a former WWE star slowly tongue-in-cheek.
Fortunately, Chris Sun’s Pig it’s just that: popcorn with popcorn hair that includes some fun conversation with some funny sequences.
A perfect movie to watch with a group of friends and a few beers.

What does it mean?
A video store owner takes on a new staffer, who gets a quick education in the fine arts of horror movies.
Why should you watch it?
To scare the package It’s actually seven mini-movies for the price of One, a fun anthology from seven different directors that fit into every horror movie stereotype imaginable. Funny gory death? Cheesy One-Liners? Serial killer Who won’t stay dead? Each trope gets its moment to shine in this delicious, energetic mishmash A cabin in the woods-Style Satire as it is a love letter in the genre.

What does it mean?
After breaking up with his partner, a troubled man stops resting and strikes up a conversation with an invisible person in a store bathroom who claims to be a god.
Why should you watch it?
You’d think that a movie set almost entirely in a bathroom would be a tough sell, but the combination of a well-written script, Rebekah McKendry’s creative direction and André Lamar help the pace of this thing. Extra points for conceptual creativity and the weird genre Mishmash, which combines silly comedy, tension and LoveCraftian Horror.
