Monday, December 29: The Logan Sisters Battle Fashion Marketing on The Bold and the Beautiful

On Monday, December 29, we have Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) telling Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) why she thinks Dylan (Sydney Bullock) is homeless. This is a carryover discussion from last Friday. Will thinks Dylan lives in his car. Meanwhile, in another carryover from Friday’s controversial scenes on Spencer Publications, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) keep butting heads.

Brooke forbids Katie from naming her fashion company Logan. Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was trying to play peacemaker. We’ll have more of that, but Brooke’s attitude is that Katie is riding her coattails and has no right to the name. His take is what made Brooke a known commodity. So, basically, she thinks her big sister can suck it up. This is exciting.

Ridge and Brooke get legal advice from Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) when they get back Forrester Creations after the great war Spencer Publications. Obviously, this is about Katie’s new logo and the name of the fashion house, Logan. Carter may suggest if Katie can escape.

I think in theory he absolutely can based on some research I’ve done. Part of Brooke’s argument is that Logan is a pet name that Ridge used for her. I mean, come on. Donna is not trying to trademark Honey Bear. No one tags Snuggle Bunny in my house.

Tuesday, December 30th: Liam Spencer Goes to Carter Walton for Trademark Control on The Bold and the Beautiful

Tuesday, December 30, we have Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) trying to free Katie from the Forresters’ influence. Actually, Bill doesn’t want Katie to listen to naysayers and haters. Brooke and Ridge don’t support him; they are busy coming to him. Bill doesn’t want Katie to take anything Brooke says to heart.

Ridge and Brooke are still trying the “oh, you don’t know yet” and “you don’t know what you’re getting into” routines. They say it is really difficult to run a fashion house. Of course, Katie ran into Forrester at one point, and Bill insists to Katie that she doesn’t ride coattails. You’re Logan too, and you have every right to use that name. He’s her biggest man right now, and Liam is all for it.

Ridge was saying it as part of their argument about at Spencer that Forrester Creations is trademarked to Logan. Brooke had an old company that she left over 20 years ago called Logan designs. Bill then tells Katie and Liam on Tuesday, “Yeah, Ridge is right. They have Logan’s trademark.”

But Liam is on his computer watching it USPTO, i Patent and Trademark Office. He says they had it but they still don’t have it yet. It looks like Carter dropped the ball and didn’t renew the trademark. Carter sees that too. Liam and Carter are in a neck-and-neck race on their laptops to register a trademark Logan designs. I think Liam might beat Carter because that would be the soapiest result. We will see.

Midweek Drama: Brooke Logan and Katie’s Rivalry Reaches a Boiling Point on B&B

Over here Forrester Creations, Ridge talks bad about Carter after he tells Ridge that the trademark has expired. Brooke is crazy. He asks if Logan is still theirs. The thing is, they don’t use the word. You must use a company name to be able to keep a trademark. They haven’t used it in 22 years; they have no legal leg to stand on.

Will and Electra support Dylan after he admits to them that he is homeless. Will and Electra want to help, and ask him to stay at their guest house until he gets his finances in order. Remember, Electra doesn’t live there. He lives there a lot, but I don’t think he lives there.

So, Dylan said he’s not comfortable with that because Electra doesn’t live there. So, Electra said she would say a few nights and Dylan agreed. You say all the right things but I’m already getting vibes from Dylan.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Makes a Bad Move That Crushes Katie

Wednesday, December 31, is the last episode of the year, and Katie tells Bill about something Brooke did. Katie was very touched by it. It really pissed him off. It sounds like Brooke is getting petty and spiteful. Obviously, if she finds out that Katie got the trademark, Brooke’s head will explode.

This may be a lot of trash talking. She may have packed up Katie’s office and thrown her things on the curb or in the trash can. I’m really excited about this rivalry. I’m really hoping that Brad Bell doesn’t do what he usually does, where he does this big build up and then goes out and we don’t get the big, explosive conflict and ending that we want in the story.

Like when they brought in Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and he yelled at Brooke for a minute and then hugged her—that was lame. I hope Brad Bell doesn’t write this. Maybe someone better is on staff because we know Heather Tom writes and Lawrence Saint-Victor writes. Hopefully, Brad Bell is out of his office playing with his arrows and someone decent is writing this plot.

Bill leaves the Ridge after finding out what Brooke did to Katie. It’s not just Brooke; Brooke and Ridge both target Katie. That won’t fly with Dollar Bill Spencer. Carter blames Bill for ruining Katie and Brooke’s relationship, but I personally think it’s all about Brooke and Ridge right now.

New Year’s Day Recap and Friday’s Highlights and Good Revelations

Thursday, January 1, is New Year’s Day and we’ll do it again. This is one of the summer episodes during their time in Italy, where Brooke models clothes and flirts with Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) to make Ridge jealous. At that time, Nick was ready to propose to Brooke, and Eric Forrester (John McCook) kept trying to fire Nick and get him out of the fashion event. Eric also wanted Ridge to dump Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and get back with Brooke, his destiny.

Friday, January 2, episode one Bold and Beautiful in the New Year. Carter, Ridge, and Brooke continue to undermine Katie’s new venture. They behave really badly. I hope you will stop. Maybe they will file a lawsuit or an injunction to try to stop him from starting his business.

Dylan is very grateful that Will and Electra gave him a place to stay, and says thank you. Electra tells Dylan that all Will wants is his respect. That’s kind of a weird statement. Daphne, meanwhile, checks in on Will and Finn (Tanner Novlan), who proceed to shower outside and show off their abs to the rest of us. Thanks to B&B with that.

Looking Ahead: Will Daphne be the New Luna 2.0?

The week of January 5 to 9, we found out Stranger Things talking to Dylan. She might be Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) 2.0. I don’t know. Things seem very complicated with him, and I think he may take action on Will. Brooke is devastated, and Donna is stuck between angry sisters.
