The Bold and the Beautiful: A Shocking Twist – Elektra Unshackled While Dylan Stays Sane?

Bold and Beautiful spoilers tease this week about Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) behavior. He gave us whiplash, and it makes me wonder if he and Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) are really the sane one.

We’re going to talk about Electra’s mysterious behavior that varies depending on who’s in the room with her. Is Melissa Dylan completely innocent, and does Electra have some issues that need to be resolved?

Electra Forrester’s Aggressive Shift Toward Melissa Dylan

I saw the incompatibility with Electra from the first moment Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) invited Melissa Dylan to stay in the guest house above his garage. I thought, “Okay, that seems unfair, but it’s just a one-time outing.” And then this week, it happened again and it got even worse. I’m starting to really question what’s going on with Electra.

Earlier this month, back in the January 1st and 2nd episodes, after Will offered Dylan a place to stay, he thanked him and Electra. He was very grateful. He has been living in his car; the poor girl is homeless. Dylan politely told Electra, “Thank you so much,” and said he was glad Electra found a good guy like Will.

When Dylan shares his story with Will and Electra, they tell Dylan that he came to the right people because they really do care. These richest people in Malibu really care. But then other things started to come out.

Did Melissa Dylan Overstep Her Boundaries at Will Spencer’s Guest House?

When Will first offered Dylan a spare room, he initially turned him down. If you remember, he said he wouldn’t be comfortable living there unless Electra was there too. Electra, she’s the elderly person that Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) tells that she shouldn’t hang out at Will’s house too much—as if Ivy has a say.

Still, when Dylan said he couldn’t be free without Electra around, to me that seemed thoughtful and respectful. He stayed in his lane. Even though Dylan thought Will was hot, he didn’t jump at the chance to be around him without his girlfriend.

When they showed Dylan the room above the garage, he was thrilled. Will kissed him in thanks, but Electra was there, and she was innocent. Then when Will left to go diving and it was Dylan alone with Electra, he suddenly changed his tune.

Electra’s Two-Faced Attitude Towards the New Guest

As Will listens, Electra says, “We need to help Dylan. He’s my friend.” But with Will gone, things change completely with his attitude. Right off the bat, Dylan tells Electra that Will is kind of letting him stay there. Instead of agreeing, Electra instantly became furious. He told Dylan that he couldn’t stay there long because even the kindest hosts don’t want so many house guests.

To be clear, Electra does not live there and it is not her home. Will gave Dylan a place to stay and never mentioned the time; He just wanted to get a chance to earn money, get a job, and get a place to live. Electra acted like they were very generous and really wanted to help Dylan, but the second Will was gone, and Electra turned on him.

Electra also said that day, “You will want to be respected.” I don’t remember her saying that to Dylan as a condition of her moving into the house. That was the build up for Electra to say the next thing, which was to respect Will and respect that he is her boyfriend. That’s the point he wanted to get across with a respectful comment. I’m sure Dylan has always been respectful.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Is Melissa Dylan Checking Out Will Spencer?

To be fair, there is quite a bit of it. We’ve seen her check on Will before—watching him while he’s outside in the shower—and she checked on him in a recent episode while he was sleeping on the couch. You can take it as a creeper, or you can take it as, “Oh, you’re glad you’re getting some sleep. You’re a good man.”

I’m not saying Dylan is 100% innocent, but come on. How can you look for a hot guy in an outdoor shower? I live near the sea; he looks. I will say that his watching Will nap was borderline for me. However, Electra doesn’t know about any of those things.

He doesn’t know if Dylan watched him in the shower or if he watched him sleeping. As far as Dylan’s behavior was in Electra’s presence, it was all completely innocent. Whatever Electra said to Dylan had nothing to do with her testing Will because she never did it in front of Electra.

Tensions Rise During an Innocent Dinner with the Bold and the Beautiful

Fast forward to this week. Dylan does what he says he will; he is always looking for a job to find a new place to live and get back on his feet financially. She was doing laundry for Will and Electra so she could be helpful. Will said he shouldn’t have done it, but Dylan insisted he wanted to be helpful.

Will insisted that Dylan sit down and eat the chicken he had cooked since Electra was stuck at work. At first, Dylan said no, but Will insisted that Dylan should sit down and eat with him. So, he did. Also, everything was very innocent. I didn’t feel a flirtatious vibe; it was a friendly vibe.

Meanwhile, Electra was at work telling Ivy Forrester that she was upset that Will would be eating dinner alone. Dylan behaved at mealtimes. He didn’t cross the line; he just added hot sauce and ate. He doesn’t work for money, and I don’t even know where to get food. If you stay at someone’s house and they eat dinner, they usually give you at least some leftovers.

The Bright and Beautiful: Electra’s Paranoia and the Shadow of Luna Nozawa

Talking to Ivy, Electra said what kind of person Dylan is and what a good friend he is to her. It all seemed very pleasant—almost too pleasant, to be honest. Both Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ivy Forrester mentioned something about Dylan staying at Will’s house. Ivy said it wasn’t fair, and Steffy said if Dylan up and walked out, Electra could have her boyfriend alone.

Maybe that’s what trapped him and made him so effective, because he went bad for Dylan out of nowhere and for no good reason. Will told Electra that Dylan had some of the chicken he cooked, and Electra commented to Will about her replacement. He promised to cook for Electra when he returned from his business trip Bold and Beautiful.

He then told Will that he didn’t want Dylan to jump and get too free, and told Will that he would “handle him.” Manage what? Will asked Dylan to sit down and share a meal, he said no until he insisted on his house.

Bold and the Beautiful: The Confrontation at Forrester Creations

Electra texted Dylan and told him, “Come to Forrester,” and she said she knew last night, like something happened between Dylan and Will. Dylan told the truth about Thanda having dinner with him. Electra insists that Dylan did something wrong and she should have told Will no because he shouldn’t have.

Dylan disagreed, even if he didn’t use the word “wrong.” Electra then said, “It better not happen again.” Dylan panicked and said he would get out as soon as possible.

All I can see is that Electra is sweet and acts like Dylan’s best friend in the world when he talks to anyone else. But when Electra is alone with Dylan, she seems to be harassing a homeless girl. Why is he doing this?

I think it all comes back to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). I think Electra is so paranoid about Will who is now dead and mentally pregnant that she sees the worst whenever she looks at Dylan. It almost seems like Electra is punishing Dylan for being so salty about Luna.

Is Electra Forrester Untouchable or Is Melissa Dylan a Threat to the Bold and the Beautiful?

I can excuse some of Electra’s behavior because Luna was bullying Will, but I don’t know how Electra is supposed to choose an innocent homeless girl. I will say that Dylan’s cuteness made me suspicious of him. He may be perfectly fine. Maybe he’s lurking for the Will.

Or, maybe some poor unfortunate Dylan girl is intimidated by a rich girl like Electra, who has never been broke for a minute in her life and is naive and unfocused. The question is, who is crazy?
