The market for X’s Handle is open and there are other … interesting names if you are willing to pay

After previewing its strategy to open up the marketplace to “distribute” hot handles last month, X has made the feature available to all Premium+ subscribers on the platform. The feature allows subscribers to request new handles that are now unavailable because they were already inactive accounts.
The market offers two types of handles: “Most important” and “rare.” Most importantly, X raised the goal of giving people the opportunity to have a handle that shows more of their name. However, in practice it is not at all clear that x determines what is considered “very important” and “unusual” handle. I signed up for a $40/month subscription and searched for both @kbell and @karissa only to be told they are both considered “uncommon” and therefore unavailable to me. I was able to “register” my interest “with words, and include a brief description of why I want the handles.
My first and last name is, apparently, “rare.” (x)
The company says that the rare handles are “very important words” and “are often released in a few words, according to @aichat. Application Program. “The company has also said that it will want certain wanted handles to be available for purchase by invitation only, at prices “anywhere in seven figures.”

There is some great opportunity here, if you can find it. (x)
After the hard work, I found out that there are several entertainment options that are theoretically available now as “top” handles, including @six_seven, @Gronfarts, @GBHATS and @ Honestly, all this was a little meaningless, although I’m not completely X will agree with @oonfarts or @grokfacts. You should also monitor these requests at least partially because X only gives users the ability to request one priority handle at a time for life of their account.
There are also other important strings attached to the whole process. In addition to being required to save $40/month or $395/year premium + subscription, X has a strict set of rules to “keep your handle.” These include:
-Create content regularly. If the account is active but the corresponding handle remains very quiet – for example, when little or no existing or engaging content is published – x can return the handle.
-Use the handle in a way that shows a spirit of involvement and expression in X. That means active involvement in the activities of the speaker (answering, repeating, re-talking creates a community and discourse. The purpose of X is to ensure that the handles are always available with active voices and creators who help to advance the mission of the speaker, not guesswork or inactivity.
Ejert -punish a standard activity on the platform, with at least 1 device login within a 30-day period. For details, see our inactive account policy.
The wording also means that “x owns and can return any handle,” which is more than theory. The company has a long history of causing desired reactions from users who actively use it including, ironically, @x.
Given all that, I have yet to follow through on requesting the “important” available handles I found. I would just stick with the same church (@karissabe) that I have been using for the past 16 years. It’s only two letters from the so-called “unusual” division of my first name, and it won’t cost anything extra to keep.
