The PAG-IBIG Fund wins the GCG’s best sustainability award

This award recognizes the agency’s efforts to integrate sustainability values and humble practices into its brands, services, and internal operations.

The Pag-Ibig fund has strengthened its sustainability measures in recent years, especially by increasing access to affordable and functional housing through approved loans and the expanded Pimbino program (4ph increase). The agency is also accelerating digital transformation efforts to reduce paper usage, reduce branch foot traffic, and improve resource efficiency.
To support Greener Housing options, the PAG-IBIG Fund allows members to use home loans for the purchase or installation of solar panels, either as part of a home improvement or as a built-in feature in newly acquired units. This enables members to invest in cleaner and more cost-effective energy solutions. The agency also gives additional consideration to evaluating housing projects of its accredited developers that incorporate green or energy-saving features.
PAG-IBIG WAMPITAC CEO C. Acosta said the award underscores the organization’s mission to deliver sustainable, impactful programs that meet the needs of Filipino workers.
“We will continue to be sustainable by saving as we help Filipino workers build a better future through meaningful savings and affordable financing,” said Ms Acosta. “We are very grateful to GCG for this event because it strengthens our determination to serve with a greater purpose.
