Aspinall, 32 years old from England, has not been in the Octagon since July 2024 when he dropped Curtis Blayde one minute into the first round. Aspinall was redeemed by losing just 15 seconds behind the blydes in July 2022 after suffering a hamstring injury.

Aspinall is 15-3 in his UFC career with 11 knockouts, and has never gone past the third round in any of his outings.
