Democratic rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas, a firebrand critic of President Donald Trump and a Republican, has filed papers to run for Senate, according to a party spokeswoman.
A spokesperson for the Texas Democratic Party confirmed to FOX News Digital on Monday that Crockett had filed for the Senate. He is expected to officially launch his Senate campaign Monday evening in a contest that could determine whether the GOP holds its majority in the House next year.
The announcement of the Crockett campaign, which was expected, will probably explode the highest and most competitive race in Texas, which, on the Republican side, includes the reading of General Kennen Ken Paxton and Rep. Wesley Hunt.
The official announcement by the Rising-Star Democrat, who has a large media base and currently represents the Dallas Area, will come hours after one of the two Democrats already running for the senate in 2026 abandoned his bid.

The former All. Colin Overed, who was making his second straight run for the Senate in Texas on the right, on Monday morning ended his campaign and instead began campaigning as he sought to return to the House.
But Remocratic State Rep. James Talarico, a former middle school teacher and Presbyterian Seminarian who is seen as a star of the Democratic Party, lives in the Senate Parting, putting a big face between cold funds.
Talarico answered Crocket entering the race saying,
Crockett held a ceremony announcing his decision about 90 minutes before the deadline on the last day of the March 3 primary.
Crockett had been planning a possible bid for weeks, and sent a poll to make his case work in Texas, where no Democrat had been elected in three decades.

Allred, who was serving a second straight Senate term after losing to conservative firebrand Sen. TED CRUZ 9 percent last year, said a statement that did not want to contribute to anything done in the senate next year.
“In the past few days, I have come to believe that the democratic senate and the runoff will protect the democratic party from going into this critical election united in the painful danger that is governed by our communities in question and Bonald Trump Paxton, Cornyn, or Hunt.
By dropping out of the race, the senators are likely to allow Democrats to avoid more run-ins and scrimmages in the spring, giving the party more time to raise its finances and much-needed campaign funds.
At that time, with Cornyn, Paxton, and Hunt all taking aim at each other in the burning primary, the GOP nomination could be headed for a runoff, which would result if there were no 50% voter turnout in the Primary.

The 44-year-old Crockett, who is Black, is a former state representative and civil rights lawyer. He won his seat in 2022 after a long term of democracy. Eddie Bernice Johnson, who retired, took him as his successor in Congress.
Crockett, who won re-election last year, has become one of the most well-known democratic politicians in the country in the last few years, thanks to the Republican virus and the leading public trarings with Trump, who also asks his questions again and again. He also held many titles during his time on the House oversight committee.
Crockett is spending an eye-popping amount of campaign money on this
While his senate continues to please many Democrats, due to his strength and proven fundraising ability, his constant political push with the GOP can strengthen Republicans.
Among his biggest outbursts — calling Abbott, who is partially paralyzed and uses a wheelchair, “Gov. hot wheels.”
Crockett has also compared Trump to Adolf Hitler on numerous occasions while accusing the Republican party of elements of Fascism.
As a member of the House Oversight Committee Earlier this year following the death of a real top Democrat, recent rep. DRRRY CONOLLY, D-VA.
But the Dallas-Area Democrat found some party leaders, such as Party President Kamala Harris, who revealed in his memocker “107 days” that he taught Crockett as part of Coffert’s “stars” while in office.
Crockett spoke at the Democratic National Convention last year when Harris was named the party’s President, a remarkable slot for a former House lawmaker.

Crockett’s entry into the Senate race, and his show with Talarico, may be removed from the GOP’s basic viewpoint, where Cornyn, for a long time leading to the leadership of the party, has decided on the great leadership of the Party, has decided on the great departure of Paxton, maga firebrand, by hunting in the third hour.
The concern among Republicans is that Paxton, who has been plagued for the past decade by political and legal problems and is now facing a pending divorce, will be getting the seat.
But Crockett’s Senate election could change the political equation.

While his aggressive push against Trump and the GOP should play well on the left, it could hurt his chances of winning next November among Texas’ General Election Electorate.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the arm of the GOP senate campaign, this past summer paid for a democratic primary poll in Texas that showed CrockenT Inter. Publicly released polling was done to encourage Crocket to enter the race, with the gop thinking he would beat Allred or Talarico.
NRSC Communications Director Joanna Gonzalez, in a statement to FOX News Digital after Crockett was announced, Jasmine Crockett led the latest primary that her Democratic party is run by Democrat leftists. “
Delanie Bomar, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, told FOX News Digital that “Jasmine Crockett’s shenanigans are an embarrassment to Texas.”
