President Donald Trump on Saturday said Hamas needs to start returning the bodies of hostages taken by the terrorist group during the war, “immediately, or other countries involved in this grand truce will take action.”
While all the survivors were returned to Gaza, the remains of the 13 dead were not released by Hamas.
“Some bodies are hard to reach, but some can come back now, for some reason, they are not,” Trump wrote in a social media post. “Maybe it has to do with their cultivation, but when I said, ‘These two sides will be treated well,’ that only works if they comply with their obligations.”
Hours before sending Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Ambulator to Israel Mike Huckabee met with the families of Itay Chen and Omer Neutra, two Americans who were killed on Oct. 7, 2023 Attacks.

Authorities believe Chen, a 19-year-old Israeli citizen, was kidnapped by Hamas on Oct 7, 2023, but was later pronounced dead by the Israel Defense Force (IDF).

Neutra, 21, an American-Israeli from New York, was killed in action on Oct 7, 2023.
Huckabee noted Rubio’s visit to Israel was “very productive in advancing” the US-Breakerled Gaza peace plan, adding the plan cannot work until all the hostages, alive and dead.
While traveling to Asia on Saturday, Trump met with the leaders of Qatar and entered the air force while Refueid air base.

Qatar has played a major role in the peace talks and is not stopping Gaza.
After a meeting with the Qatari Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Abdium Al Thina Thani, Trump said “the Emir is one of the great rulers of the world … and the Prime Minister was my friend.”

Looking closely at the peace agreement, the President said, “What we have done is amazing – peace in the Middle East.”
