President Donald Trump was once again praised by Jimmy Kimmel’s Jimmy Kimmel on Saturday as he was honored with the Kennedy Center Honors in the Oval Office on Saturday.
“I’m sure they’ll give me good reviews, right? Do you know? “No, I think we’ll do well. I looked at some of the people in charge. Jimmy Kimmel was terrible. If I can’t beat Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don’t think I should be President.”
Kimmel’s show was briefly put on hold on ABC and parent company Disney in September after it was claimed that Charlie Kirk was part of the Maga crowd, although Kimmel said he was misrepresented.
According to the Kennedy Center, the Kennedy Center Honors raised a record $23 million for its 48th annual celebration. It marks the largest collection in the history of the Office, which was established in 1978 as the highest lifetime recognition. Among this year’s recipients are Sylvester Stellone, Gloria Gaynor and the rock band Kiss.
