The federal watchdog shared a message Wednesday asking white men to come forward and report potential incidents of workplace discrimination.
Vice President JD Vance also sent a video message from US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Andrea Lucas to X.
In his video statement, Lucas noted that white men who experience discrimination in the workplace can recover money under the law.
“Are you a white male who has experienced workplace discrimination based on your race or gender? You may have a claim for reimbursement under federal civil rights laws. Contact @USEEOC as soon as possible,” Lucas wrote in a related post on X. “The EEOC is committed to identifying, attacking, and eliminating ALL racial and gender discrimination – including against white male employees and applicants.”

Although Vance did not comment on when he shared Lucas’ post directly, he released several posts earlier Wednesday regarding DEI, which stands for diversity, equity and inclusion.
“A lot of people think that ‘DEI’ is a lame diversity convention or a racial slogan in NFL games. In fact, it was a deliberate program to discriminate primarily against white men,” Vance said in the post, linking to what he called “an amazing piece that explains the evils of DEI and its consequences.”
Lucas replied, voicing complete agreement with Vance’s comment.

“That’s right @JDVance. And precisely because this widespread, systematic, illegal discrimination primarily harmed white men, the elites didn’t just turn a blind eye; they celebrated it. Totally unacceptable; illegal; immoral,” he wrote in response to the vice president’s comments. “@USEEOC will not rest until this discrimination is ended.”
In another post, Vance stated that President Donald Trump’s administration wanted to end “racism.”

“That’s why the Trump administration is so committed to ending racism. We defunded DEI, required federal grants to ensure they don’t participate in DEI, fired dozens of DEI employees, and asked @HarmeetKDhillon to prosecute all forms of racism. This was the worst of white Democrat leaders. It’s injustice, plain and simple,” he wrote.
