We Got Anime ‘Among Us’ Before Clipping Hollywood Characters Cartoon ‘Among Us’

Back in 2023, An endless train creator Owen Dennis and Star Trek: The Lower Decks animation studio Titmouse has announced that they are working on an animated series adaptation of the popular sci-fi multiplayer action game Innerloth, Between us, for CBS. TThe following year, we learned that it would have a great voice cast stacked up, including Ashley Johnson and Elijah wood. But so far nothing has been heard about this plan. In apparent absence, the new show Crunchyroll has decided, randomly, to step up and release what is supposed to be anime. Among Us.
Well, technically, Gnosisanimation studio Domerica, is an anime adaptation of a completely different game, a visual novel of the same name. But obviously – anime Among Us. Its premise, like the game, is a group of strangers in space who must vote on which of them is Gnosia.
“Gnosia” is basically an anime slang term made up of Among Us a deceiver. There are many accusations thrown at the suspicious statements made by each person and so on, but the difference is that instead of expelling the accused from the airlock, they are put in the freezer. When everyone else fails, Gnosia wins and destroys humanity. Womp womp.
The program accordingly follows Yuuri, who represents the audience, with the added contrivance that, despite suffering from amnesia about how he got here, he is also stuck in a time where he is forced to act out all the rigmarole from one episode to another, with new roles and characters added to the mix. In non-anime-speak: the show’s plot point is to mimic what iPad kiddos and Twitch streamers have been doing for the past eight years, insisting on one round of Innerloth’s gameplay. Something– inspired game.
Overall, while the show may not feel like it has a lot of rewatch value due to its reruns of episodes—like Between us—with secret roles interspersed within its rotating slot of anime character archetypes, the show is a useless waste of time for those who want to know what the phrase “anime Among Us” will play.
I really like the English dub because of its characters it depends a lot on how big it is Among the Us its premise is, with a nice funny line that reads in between Crying, trickery, double-crossing, and soft affirmations that go from episode to episode.
Instead of each episode ending abruptly before resetting, the next guessing game to find out which team member is sus is a mystery that viewers can play along with Yuuri. It also doesn’t hurt that its characters, with the exception of a rare few, have excellent designs, making them appealing to any anime fan. There’s even a familiar-looking alien and a talking dolphin zipping around on a little scooter thrown into the mix, adding more suspense about who is and isn’t “human” from one episode to the next. The show is also very clever in the way it draws the characters Danganronpa-ambiguous and vague endings, which leave doubt as to who is or isn’t the baddie.
What else, Gnosis fall 2025 anime, which, for the average anime viewer, means that the show has enough episodes for people to binge-watch, dubbed and subbed (we don’t judge), until it runs out of content to throw away.
