Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief said on Thursday he visited front-line troops in a key city cleared by Russian forces, while Ukrainian President Voldymyr Ulesenskyy faced a fallout from his corruption scandal.

After Ministers Zelenskyy and Ministers Zanenskyy resigned on Wednesday amid the suspected death of thousands of energy, the government fired the poison of Enargot, the nuclear power company that believes the investigators to be at the center of the scheme.

The heads of Energoatom’s finance, legal and procurement departments and an adviser to the President of Energoatom were also fired, prime minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said late Wednesday.

The Kyiv court has begun to hear the evidence of the clock of corruption, including 1,000 hours of Wiretaps, brought the detention of five people and promised seven others in a scheme of about $ 100 million, which is suspected to have received $ 100 million US.

Tymur MindICH, the co-owner of Zelenskyy’s KVark 95 Media Production Company, is the Masterminds accused of being accused. His whereabouts are still unknown.

The investigation has prompted questions about what the country’s highest officials knew about the program. It also evoked memories of Zelenskyy’s efforts last summer to reduce anti-corruption watchdogs. He is behind widespread street protests in Ukraine and pressure from the European Union, which has pushed the country to face entrenched fraud.

While the Ukrainians expressed anger and disbelief in the possible outcome, European Commission Secretary Ursula von Leyen said that the EU could distribute Loulean to Ukraine and promised more money to Kyiv.

“We will cover the financial needs of Ukraine for the next two years,” said the speech in the European Parliament.

The EU and other foreign partners have invested in Ukraine’s energy sector. Russia has exploded with an energy grid, which needs repeated repairs.

The EU is looking at how it can come up with more money for Ukraine, either by seizing Russian assets, raising money in capital markets, or having other EU nations raise money themselves.

Russian President Vladimir Putin “thinks he can get us out” of the future war in Ukraine, nearly four years after Russia invaded, Von Der Leyen said.

“And this is a clear mistake,” he said. “So now it’s time to come, with a new impetus, to open an attempt to deceive Putin to buy time and bring him to the negotiating table.”

Watch | Russia is trying to get a firm grip on the Key Eastern City:

Russia is moving to close the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk

Pokrovsk has been almost emptied of its citizens as Russia tries to tighten its grip on the city with plans to capture IDetsk region.

Meanwhile, Gen Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine’s top military commander, visited the units fighting to capture Pokrovsk in the Eastern Donetsk region and personally coordinated the operations.

Ukrainian forces are locked in street battles with Russian forces in the city and are fighting to defend themselves against the encirclement of Russia’s main force as Russia’s military slowly shifts to the countryside.

Syrskyi said that the main objectives will be to regain control of certain areas of the city, as well as to protect the roads and create new ones, so that the troops can be supplied and the wounded can not be evacuated.

“There is no question of Russian control over the city of Pokrovsk or of surrounding the Ukrainian defense forces in this area,” Syrskyi said.
