Zohran Mamdani’s campaign found out how to use fandom

New Zohran Mamdani The York City Mayor’s campaign has set a new standard for how Democrats can communicate online.
It is this digital experiment and authentic engagement with social media platforms that pundits across the portron spectrum have awarded Mamdani victory and victory on Tuesday night. From the beginning, his team outranked his opponents on the Internet, publishing highly produced videos that reached a large audience.
But that’s only part of the story. Much of Mamdani’s online content does not just come from his campaign or the multitude of political influencers he has been invited to cover. His followers appeared.
