Back in October, OpenAI announced apps like Spotify and Canva would be available on Chatgpt. At the time, the company said more software was on the way, and it’s now one of the most popular chatbot apps available.
Starting today, you can access Photoshop, Acrobat and Adobe Express within chatgpt. All applications are free to use on Occaiai’s website, although before you can start producing PDFs and images using Acrobat and Adobe Express, you will need to log in to your Adobe account. To use any of the applications in Chatgpt, either call them quickly or select them from the integration menu.
Of the three applications, the way OpenAi’s open-source chatbot connects to Photoshop is probably the most interesting. Depending on the prompt, the interface will change to show the sliders most relevant to your request. For example, if you want to lighten an image, you will see a single slider that allows you to change the exposure, along with some great shadows and icons. By contrast, if you want to add an effect to a photo, chatgpt can show options related to DIVING and Tri-toni, among others.
What is interesting about all this is the way chatgpt communicates with Adobe tools, through the MCP server, to offer a slice of the company’s applications. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always found Adobe software to be too complicated, with too many ways to accomplish the same task. Granted, what I saw was a hands-on demo, but the adobe build worked fine.

“We build LEGO blocks, which are MCP tools, and we build detailed instructions, and then chatgpt figures out what it wants to do,” Aubrey Cattell, Vice-Moventie of Adobe, explained. “Sometimes it does what we want, and sometimes it doesn’t. That’s kind of what it doesn’t do, and we continue to soften ourselves as much as we can to give them the effect that they give them the effect that they want.”

With OpenAI, this is easy compatibility with its push to retrieve chatgtt in the application of all the more than 800 million applications depend on every day. For Adobe, it feels like the company is having its lunch with the organization. After all, Alephaai offers its own generation. However, Cattell said Adobe doesn’t see it that way.
“A few weeks back, Alaiai released the SDK applications as a new paradigm for getting chatgpt, we realized that there is a natural right in the work we are doing,” he said. “In fact, they gave us an app that we were able to show us to bring our requests to their face.
Cattell promised Adobe will continue to explore what it can offer within chatgpt, but added the company’s applications will continue to be the place users can go if they want more power, precision and control.
